Have you ever had a crazy craving for something from your childhood? Growing up, I was obsessed with “polvorosas,” also known in many Latin American countries as “polvorones” or Mexican wedding cookies. Regardless of what you want to call them, these cookies are perfect for any occasion and are so delicious. The texture inside is crumbly and the outside is dusty like the name implies ( “polvo” in Spanish means dust). Recipe:
1 cup unsalted butter 2 ½ cups flour ¾ cup confectioners sugar
¼ teaspoon salt The instructions for these cookies are super simple and you can make them in less than 15 minutes.
Let me know if you made them! I’d love to give you a shoutout on Instagram! Enjoy!
